  • Choosing Your Required Recommender

To improve your chance of acceptance into the program, your one required recommendation letter should be written by someone who is familiar with your interests, abilities, and/or career goals, particularly related to science. We prefer this letter to come from a professor in a relevant science or engineering discipline, but we will also accept a letter from a postdoc or graduate student instructor that is co-signed by a relevant professor. Remember, you must reach out to them and ask yourself, we will not reach out to them for you nor will this form email them.

    DEADLINE: 5 p.m. 02/02/2024

  • 2nd Recommender?

A second optional letter from any individual inside or outside of the University, such as a former employer or research advisor, may be emailed to the Program Coordinator at qb3interns@berkeley.edu by February 9, 2024.
