                  Bikes for Kids

                  This program celebrates resilience and achievement by awarding a bicycle and helmet to one male and one female K-6 student who have demonstrated exceptional potential or overcome significant challenges during the school year. Selected by school staff, these deserving students are honored and presented with their awards at the end-of-year ceremony, recognizing their hard work and perseverance.

                  Books for Kids
                  To foster youth literacy, the Chamber distributes a holiday-themed book to every child attending Trunk-or-Treat and Pictures with Santa. Over the past couple years, we have proudly distributed over 1500 books, creating meaningful, literacy-focused moments that inspire a love for reading and leave lasting positive memories for children and their families.

                  Chamber Scholarship Program
                  The Chamber is dedicated to investing in the future by awarding scholarships to Riverside High School seniors pursuing higher education. Over the past four years, we have proudly contributed nearly $80,000 to support their academic journeys. These scholarships made possible through events such as the Distinguished Citizens Awards Banquet and the Ryan Neal Memorial Golf Tournament, open doors for students who may not qualify for larger funding opportunities, empowering them to achieve their educational goals.

                  The Boardman Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to supporting the youth in our community, not only through established programs but also by addressing unexpected needs and opportunities that arise throughout the year. These Unknown Youth Initiatives provide flexible funding to respond to emerging challenges or unique projects aimed at enriching the lives of our young people. Whether it’s assisting with educational resources, supporting extracurricular activities, or creating opportunities for personal growth, these initiatives allow the Chamber to step in and make a meaningful impact when it matters most.
