  • 2024 Community Impact Micro Grant Application

  • APPLICATION DEADLINE: Every 4th Friday of every other month.

    WHO MAY APPLY: Nonprofit organizations, individual artists and unincorporated groups with an eligible community partner

    AWARD AMOUNT: $1,000

    PROJECT PERIOD: January 2024 - December 2024. Community Impact Grants can fund 100% of the application. Community Impact applicants are not required to provide a cash match.

  • APPLICANT PROFILE

    This is the organization or artist who will enter into a contract with the Huntington Arts Council and receive payment if awarded funds.

    If you are applying as a NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, the APPLICANT PROFILE refers to the Non-Profit organization.

    If you are applying as an INDIVIDUAL ARTIST, the APPLICANT PROFILE refers to you.

    • PUBLIC IMPACT

      An essential element of this grant is the impact your project has on the public. Proposals should reflect direct engagement with a defined community in creating the proposed work. In addition, there should be a demonstrable effort to create a meaningful impact though the arts, in the community.

    • FISCAL AND MANAGERIAL PROFILE

      This section consists of discussing your marketing plan and budget. Community Impact Grants require an interactive component or culminating event that is open to the public.

    • BUDGET WORKSHEET

      The budget worksheet is required to list project expenses, as they apply to the project/program proposed.

      Please specify only what you will use the $1,000 Micro Grant funds for.  

      ITEM - Please only include the following items, as they are applicable to your project: artist fees, marketing costs, supplies, venue rental. Be specific and list each item separately in rows numbered 1- 5. 

      COST of ITEMS - Include total cost of each line item

      EXAMPLE: Artist fees - $500, Venue Rental - $300, Printing Flyers - $200
