Project Description: In November 2022, City of Southfield residents approved a $345 million bond program designed to modernize facilities within the Southfield Public School District (SPS). Now in its fourth year, this initiative will undertake its most significant endeavor thus far—renovations and expansions to University K-12 Academy. Alongside the construction of the 253,000-square-foot University facility, SPS is continuing renovation efforts at seven additional sites. Sitework packages are currently open for bidding for work to occur in Summer 2026 construction. Renovations to Southfield High School for the Arts & Technology are scheduled to commence in early 2027.
Key Things to Note:

To be invited as a prime bidder, you must at a minimum, meet the following: 1) You MUST be prequalified and your prequalification limit MUST meet the minimum bonding capacity identified for the specific category. 2) If you are a joint venture, all firms named in the joint venture must be prequalified. 3) You MUST be registered by completing this form.
