When funds are available, camp scholarships can be awarded to cover 50% or 75% of the total cost of tuition of up to 2-weeks of camp for each child.
  • DAC Camp Scholarship process:

    1. Before completing this scholarship application, create an account for you and your child(ren) (add your child(ren) as account members to the parent account) in our registration software AT THIS LINK. If you add a credit card to your account info online, you can skip Step 3 of this process. But, please know that the $30 non-refundable scholarship deposit will be processed on your card on file in your account if you are awarded a scholarship (learn more about that under Step 3).

    2. Complete this application form in its entirety. Please note, proof of income is required as part of this application. Acceptable proof of income documents include last year's Income Tax Return (2024), proof of food stamps or other nutrition assistance, proof of Medicaid, proof of any other government financial assistance, or proof of homelessness. If the child(ren) are in foster care, please provide proof of foster care in lieu of proof of income.

    3. Once the application is submitted, please call us at (919)560-2726 to provide credit card information for the required $30, non-refundable scholarship deposit. Please note, you will only be charged this deposit if approved for a scholarship and it will be used to hold the registration space for your child(ren) in the awarded camp(s). By completing this application, you are agreeing to pay this non-refundable $30 deposit if approved for a scholarship. The deposit will be applied to your remaining balance when submitting final payment. Your application is not complete without providing this card information.

    4. Once the application is submitted in its entirety, please allow 2-3 weeks for processing. You will be notified via email of scholarship approval/denial.

    5. Final payment of any remaining scholarship balance will be due no later than 30 days before the scheduled start-date of the camp session. If you are completing this application form within the 30-day period before the start-date of the requested camp session, please be prepared to pay any remaining balance promptly after the scholarship is awarded to maintain your child's registration spot.

*Incomplete applications will not be reviewed or considered for assistance.
