2024 Bursary Programme for Leopard Conservation

The Global Leopard Conference is awarding three grants of US $5000 each to scientific research or applied conservation projects that will benefit the conservation of leopards.
Attendees of the 2023 Global Leopard Conference (GLC) or projects recommended by GLC attendees are eligible to apply.

Applications will be judged on conservation impact and innovation, a realistic and well considered work plan, and scientific rigour. Copies of research or ethics permits may be requested by the GLC bursary committee.

The application portal is NOW CLOSED for submissions.

Winners will be announced on International Leopard Day, 3 May 2024.

Successful projects may commence from June 2024 and must be completed by August 2025. Winners will receive sponsored entry to the next GLC to share their project outcomes.

The GLC bursary programme is sponsored by the GLC and the Arabian Leopard Fund.
