Position: Motorcoach Operator

Location: Marquette, MI

Compensation:

Starting rate: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Job Description:

• Operate motor-coaches for various trips, ensuring safe and timely transportation for passengers.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.

• Comply with traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.

• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring accessibility and comfort.

• Manage travel logs (ELOG) and report any incidents or vehicle defects.

• Ensure a welcoming environment for passengers, addressing any concerns during the journey.

• Coordinate with the operations team for trip planning and scheduling.

• Completing end-of-shift logs/paperwork.
   

Qualifications:

• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.

• Must be at least 23 years of age.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air brakes and Passenger Endorsement.

• Good driving record with no major moving violations or DUIs in the past 5 years.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to navigate various routes efficiently including use of GPS, ELOG, and Smartphone.

• Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance.

• Ability to sit for extended periods and manage the physical requirements of the job.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Applicants should demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to uphold company standards.

• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and routes.

• Must have reliable transportation to report to work on time.
