    Participation in WiT Empowerment Day is open to current WiT members. Log in to your account to verify your membership is in good standing through May 31, 2024, or join WiT here.

    Licensing agents representing female inventors are welcome to pitch their client's product. It is required that all participating licensing agents are active WiT members.

    Pitch Sessions with toy companies and Walmart buyers are limited! Sessions fill up fast and will be scheduled on a first-come basis.

    TOY/GAME COMPANY PITCHES:  Pitch Sessions are scheduled on a first-come basis. Participating toy/game companies provided us with the categories they are most interested in seeing. Upon reviewing your application, we will recommend the companies best suited for your product or concept. Please note that registering for Empowerment Day does not guarantee a pitch session with your preferred toy/game company. As always, we will do our best to accommodate all pitch session requests.

    WALMART PITCHES:  All suppliers with products selected by Walmart will be expected to fulfill appropriate Walmart Supplier guidelines which may include completion of the Self-Identification Form, Supplier Diversity Registration, Supplier Checklist, obtaining a D&B Number, becoming a Certified Walmart Vendor, and other requirements as directed by Walmart.   • WAIVER AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

    1. Acknowledgment and Understanding: You acknowledge that Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment / WiT Foundation (WiT), is facilitating product pitch meetings for the purpose of allowing you to present your products or concepts to potential manufacturing partners, and that WiT's role is soley to provide a platform for such presentations and meetings, and does not participate in any negotiations, agreements, or transactions that may ensue.
    2. Independent Business Arrangements: You acknowledge that any business arrangement, contract, license, or agreement entered into with any manufacturing partner or third party as a result of the meetings facilitated by WiT is entirely independent of WiT. You understand that WiT is not a party to, and has no responsibility or liability for, any such arrangements or agreements.
    3. Waiver and Release: You hereby waive, release, and forever discharge WiT, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates, from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, rights, or causes of action, arising out of or in connection with your participation in the meetings, including, but not limited to, any claims related to the negotiation, execution, performance, or non-performance of any agreement or arrangement with any manufacturing party or third party.
    4. Hold Harmless: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WiT from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from or in connection with any agreement or arrangement between you and any manufacturing partner or third party resulting from the meetings facilitated by WiT.
    5. Understanding of Agreement: You acknowledge that you have read this Agreement, understand its terms, and are signing it voluntarily. You further acknowledge that this Agreement represents the entire understanding between you and WiT regarding the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
    6. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New York, in which WiT is headquartered, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
