  • Mammal specific requirements for boarding at TBEH

    In order to protect your pet and others from disease and parasites, the following exams/tests will be required to stay at TBEH.

    • Yearly Physical Exam
    • Yearly Fecal Exam
    • Rabies Vaccination: Ferrets
    • RABBITS: RHDV2 Vaccination: proof of completed 2 shot series-  Starting January 2023, all rabbits staying at TBEH must be vaccinated 2 weeks (booster in the case of Medgene vaccine) prior to staying at TBEH.
    • Fleas:  If it is discovered that your pet has fleas, it will be moved to the isolation ward for its stay and flea treatment will be started.
  • REPTILES/AMPHIBIANS

  • Reptile/Amphibian specific requirements for boarding at TBEH

    In order to protect your pet and others from disease and parasites, the following exams/tests will be required to stay at TBEH.

    • Yearly Negative Chlamydia Test
    • Proof of Negative PBFD Test (Starting January 2023) - This test is valid for life as long as your bird has not been in contact with birds of unknown PBFD status.

  • The fee schedule for medicating pets during boarding goes as follows:

    • Oral medications(1-3): $10.00/day
    • Oral medications(4+): $12.00/day 
    • Injections: $12.00 ea
    • Nebulization $20.00 ea

    *All medications must be provided by owner at the time of drop off*

  • ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

  • The Bird and Exotic Hospital (TBEH) has staff during the following hours:

    Monday-Saturday:       8 AM - 7 PM

     Sunday:        9 AM - 6 PM

  • While the staff of TBEH will do their best effort to keep al personal belongings labeled and organized, misplacing and breaking them can happen sometimes.  If you are very attached to a particular item we encourage you to leave it at home. We can provide bowls, blankets, etc.
