Real estate is a "commission only" business where you do not need huge
reserves like you would if you were starting a business from scratch. Coldwell
Banker Select provides many, many things at no cost to our agents. However,
you do need to have money set aside to take care of your personal obligations
until your first closings occur. From a time perspective, the National Association
of Realtors stats show that 87% of agents who start today won't be in the
business in 5 years. We know investing the right amount of time required in the
beginning will help you not become part of that statistic.
