The Clare Valley is synonymous with very special Rieslings of the highest calibre. Like citrus sliced by steel, the 2023 vintage honours the prestige of the humble dry Riesling. Garlands of white blossoms line this classic Riesling, steely yet generous with fruit fleshing of lime blossom, jasmine, and grapefruit. Paired well with oysters, whole baked fish, or a light crunchy noodle salad.
This is a classic full bodied and concentrated style of Muscadet with trademark crisp, flinty notes and hints of lemon blossom, and oyster shell with fresh, zesty, and savoury tones on the palate and hints of lemon pith and green apple along with the notable sur lie yeasty lees notes. The finish on this is wonderfully refreshing to make this an affordable, low-intervention wine in one of its finest, most refreshing forms.
This Chenin Blanc shows whispers of soft vanilla oak notes on the nose and some tropical fruits with a mineral palate of grapefruit and pear drop. A great accompaniment to dishes such as smoked chicken salad on a warm summer's day or thinly sliced carpaccio served on a bed of rocket with a lemon olive oil and black pepper dressing.
Friulano is known for its aromatic notes of golden apples, white peaches, and thyme. This wine is a lovely lemony and delicately herbal white that can be surprisingly deep and rich and can take a gentle oaking that helps deliver startlingly large amounts of complexity.
Greek white varieties, Savatiano, Malagouzia and Roditis flourish in Attica’s environment producing several of Greece’s best wines. This wine has a delicate bouquet and a bold citrus aroma. A fine accompaniment to Mediterranean dishes, seafood, fish and white meat.
This wine has intense citrus (grapefruit) and peach notes and a delicate, intense mid-palate. It is perfectly paired as an aperitif, with shellfish, oysters or prawns served with a citrus sauce.
