I understand that the collection of books for sale were curated by Scholastic, Inc. and are not a reflection nor are they associated with any of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. I also understand that the school district has worked with Scholastic, Inc. to develop control measures to ensure books sold during the fair are age appropriate. I acknowledge that as a parent/guardian I should review the materials my child is purchasing during a book fair. I further understand that Scholastic Book Fairs are typically run as fundraisers by a school's Parent Teacher Student Association, an independent, school-allied organization.
The materials available for purchase at the Book Fair were not individually selected by Miami-Dade County Public Schools. As such, parents are encouraged to review their student’s “wish list” and have a conversation about what they wish their student to purchase at the book fair before sending money to make any purchases.
The “Book Preview” can be accessed using the QR code to the right and is a representation of any book fair’s actual selection. Some books in the preview might be excluded based on availability at the branch when Scholastic packs the fair; likewise, you may see books that aren’t featured in the Preview sent as substitutes for other titles.
