Performance Requirements & Venue Info – The Hog Wallow Pub
Set Requirements
We require either:
- Two 75-minute sets or
- Three 45-minute sets
- Alternative arrangements (e.g., split bills) must be pre-approved in advance.
Show Times
- Weeknights: Downbeat at 9:00 PM.
- Weekends (Fri–Sat): Downbeat at 9:30 PM.
You’re encouraged to play until midnight on weeknights and 12:30 AM on weekends, unless a different end time is discussed.
Compensation & Cover Charges
We collect the cover charge at the door and pay out the total amount collected, minus sales tax, processing fees (which we handle and report), and any alcohol tab from the band. Cover charge amounts vary based on the day, whether it’s a solo act or full band, and the artist’s draw.
Note: Utah law prohibits giving away alcohol, even to performers.
Meals & ID Policy
- Each band member receives one complimentary meal on the night of the show.
- We check 100% of IDs at the door.

Sound System & Tech
We provide a full in-house PA and a dedicated sound tech for all performances.
Load-In Times
- Weekdays:
Solo/Duo: 8:00 PM
Full Band: 7:30 PM
- Weekends:
All performers: 8:00 PM
Promotion
If you’d like us to print posters, we can do so — please send the artwork in A3 or Tabloid size. We kindly request that you provide promotional materials at least two weeks prior to your show.
