I understand the importance of keeping wedding budgets in check. Couples often choose a budget-friendly resort to accommodate their guests, and while this is commendable, it's essential to consider the experience of your guests.

For many attending your wedding, this may be their primary vacation of the year, so creating an enjoyable experience is paramount. While it's wonderful to be considerate of guest budgets, selecting a resort that aligns with their vacation preferences is equally crucial.

If you wish to have a higher caliber hotel, you may want to consider a modest increase in the budget, perhaps $100-300 per person. This adjustment not only enhances the overall ambiance of the celebration but also ensures that your guests have a comfortable and memorable stay.

Choosing a resort that they would select for themselves adds an extra layer of enjoyment to their journey. I believe that finding the right balance between budget considerations and guest experience will contribute to a truly unforgettable wedding celebration.

Pricing should be based on what the majority of your guests can afford, and I'm here to help you navigate through these decisions to create the perfect experience for everyone involved.

Often guests say they will join however when it comes to actually applying payment they opt out. This can really affect your initial pricing and overall numbers. Be as accurate as possible to provide the best pricing possible. These numberrs will also affect your personal deposits to hold your group space.

What next?

I offer a free 40 minute consultation via zoom or telephone. During this meeting we will go over the process, what you can expect from me as your Travel Agent and what I do to assist you and your guests.

This also gives us both time to see if we are a good fit.

Know that I am a Travel Agent that works with destination wedding groups for the travel portion only (airfare/hotel/transfers). I do not have any participation in the wedding planning itself. This will all be done directly with the resort or an in destination wedding planner that you source out on your own.

I do offer assistance as a liasion if you are having troubles communicating with your on-site Wedding Co-ordinator. This does not mean I can make them answer your emails but I will do my best to light a fire if needed.

Should we agree to proceed:

There will be two contracts to sign, the first is my wedding group pricing quote fee (as detailed below), the second will be the contract approving the Suppliers pricing and terms & conditions for the group.

Should pricing not be what you had hoped for and should you opt NOT to sign the second contract, a refund will not be given for the quote fee.

Your group pricing is non-negotiable but I do my best to work within your budget if it is feasible.

Quote Fee:

I charge a $350 + tax non-refundable quote fee that allows you up to 5 wedding group quotes with additional quotes for a fee ($25 + tax). The contract will be valid for 30 days unless otherwise indicated and/or mutually agreed upon.

Wedding Website:

I also offer a wedding website that you can share with your guests. There is a non-refundable fee of $200 CAD to be paid for this site. The website will include your group travel information for your wedding, whats included in the pricing, basic resort information, insurance information, and an RSVP link where I will gather the guests details to secure their reservations.

I allow up to 4 changes or additions on your website, such as adding you in destination wedding itinerary or cocktail hour details.

What you receive as my services once your group is secured:

· Process the wedding couples initial deposit to hold the group space

· If applicable - Create a website for the wedding with information on the resort, room categories and pricing (see an example wedding group website HERE)

· Collect guest RSVP's

· Answer guest travel related questions

· Process guests deposits & final payments

· Offer a payment plan to guests

· Advise on travel insurance

· Provide a guest list to the wedding couple and the resort

IMPORTANT: Pricing a group does not look the same as pricing individual bookings. Pricing will be the same for all guests that you have saved space for with your initial low group deposit (eg. As seats/rooms are sold for individual bookings, pricing goes up, as a group the average cost is provided so each guest/room is paying the same, there are no increases for the set number of guests/rooms you have on hold within your group) [think of a Taylor Swift concert – as tickets are sold, pricing starts to go up, the same with travel].

In some cases finding the price point you want is not feasible. There have been times when the online pricing is too great to warrant your guests from booking within your group. I cannot match online prices as pricing is dynamic for individual reservations. Booking a group is not the same as booking 1 or 2 families only.
