  • What is the Destination Bryan HOT Grant?

    • The Destination Bryan HOT Grant is designed to attract new events and enhance current events to bring visitors to Bryan, Texas, who will stay overnight, contributing to the local tourism economy.

    • Funded through Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT), this grant provides financial support to organizations for events that directly enhance and promote Bryan as a tourism destination.

    • Funding is contingent on meeting a minimum room night requirement, encouraging overnight stays that benefit local businesses and the community. These funds can cover costs directly associated with producing the event, and are reimbursed after the event concludes, following submission of a post-event report and verification of the required agreement terms.

    • With a limited amount of funding available, grants will be awarded based on eligibility and projected impact to Bryan.

    • The Destination Bryan HOT Grant is intended to support events rather than ongoing operational expenses of any organization, ensuring sustainable tourism growth for Bryan, Texas.
