If it's been on your mind for some time and you're not taking action on it, you're probably not intrinsically motivated in this area (otherwise you would have done it by now).
Intrinsic motivation comes from within. It keeps you going, but it is not good at getting you started on new habits.
To get started on a new action, most people need a shove (extrinsic motivation). Such things as coaching or monetary incentives.
And that's where you get stopped. You think it all has to come from within. It doesn't. You just need to let someone give you a shove.
