These popular sessions are usually the first point of contact for players aged 4-12 who are interested in joining the club. As you’ll see below you’ll need to book on to a class first of all - we will require payment in advance and a commitment to the month of sessions to reserve a place.
We are very confident your son or daughter will have a fabulous time!
To ensure that your child is insured with us, we strongly recommend that you purchase our club membership as soon as possible (players who have not purchased a membership will be unable to attend a second month's sessions).
Memberships are valid for twelve months from the date that they are taken out.
The club membership also includes a reversible club kit which will be supplied to the player during their sessions. (Due to supply chain issues, there may be a delay in distributing club kit - we are working with our suppliers to ensure this delay is kept to a minimum).
Midweek Tuesday Mini Rockets Sessions 2023/24
We will be offering sessions for boys & girls to focus on mastering the fundamentals, including decision-making and offensive and defensive strategies.
The sessions will also emphasise the ins and outs of basketball, teaching the basics of teamwork, discipline, and good work ethics. There will be intense and demanding drills to improve foot speed, conditioning, game shooting and passing; as well as first step development off the dribble and out of triple threat. We aim to provide the players with tools that will be transferable directly into game scenarios.
Times/Days:
5 to 12 years old Boys and Girls - Every Tuesday, from 5 pm - 6.30 am. (Arrive by 4.45pm)

Bookings
This should be paid for online in advance of attending, as detailed below.
Please note that we are no longer taking individual session bookings so full monthly payments are required to secure a place on these sessions. This is due to the popular demand for the activities and to enable us to manage numbers effectively.
If the sessions show as full please do not turn up on the day as we are unable to accept payment on the door.
Unfortunately, we are unable to transfer funds to future sessions if participants are unable to attend a session for any reason.
Monthly - £22.50 per month
Due to changes across the club from September 2022, the sessions this month will take place at the revised time of 5:00pm - 6:30pm.
Anyone wishing to attend these sessions MUST complete the registration form below. Please note we cannot allow anyone to participate who has not registered in advance.
'Sibling discount' - 50% off additional children (limit of 2 discounted per family per month)
With the sibling discount, the club is offering a 50% discount to siblings who also join the club.
The first child will pay full price, and each respective sibling (up to a maximum of 2) will pay 50%. Please ensure that you select the right quantity on the payment option below.
If you want to register 2 or 3 children the discount will be added automatically.
This is just applicable to the monthly and annual fees. Membership needs to be paid in full for all the participants.
Membership
Membership for the season 2023/24
We require every single participant to register as a club member. This provides a reversible Rockets vest and shorts which should be worn at practice sessions.
The cost of our 2023/24 membership is £62.50. Club membership runs for 12 months from the date it was taken out.
Membership benefits also include discounted rates at Rockets Community Camps (excluding the Hakeem Olajuwon Summer Camp), and Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance whenever taking part in activities authorised by Basketball England.
Please note: You will receive instructions on how to register as a member through Basketball England after completing your membership - the cost of this is included in the Rockets Membership. You must register as a member through Basketball England to be covered by the above insurance.
Sibling 50% Discount
If you wish to register a second or third child for the session, please register one of the children below.
