V. DISCIPLINE POLICY
The safety, well-being and personal growth of all children enrolled in our Enrichment Program is the primary concern of Goldberg Montessori School. All students who participate in the Enrichment Programs are expected to abide by our behavioral standards and to respect boundaries, adult supervisors, and fellow students, while maintaining cooperative and appropriate interactions.
Adult supervisors and program leaders will be proactive and will intervene in order to assure that all students exhibit good behavior. Students whose behavior falls short of what is necessary for any of our Enrichment Programs to proceed safely and supportively will be subject to a “3 Chances” Policy as follows:
CHANCE ONE: Parents will be notified of the 1st non-compliance.
CHANCE TWO: The School Administration is made aware of the 2nd non-compliance situation. The School Administration will communicate a second time with the parent regarding the student’s behavior. The student’s behavior must improve or they will lose the privilege of continuing in the Enrichment Program.
CHANCE THREE: The student will be permanently removed from the Enrichment Program.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF THE STUDENT IS BEING REMOVED FROM THE ENRICHMENT PROGRAM DUE TO BEHAVIORAL CONCERNS.
*Waivers will be required for some of the Enrichment Programs and you will be notified about which ones you will need to complete.*
