Texas Chargers Board of Directors Application
We are seeking members of Texas Chargers who have the passion and the skills to help advance our mission by serving on our Board of Directors. Each applicant should possess the skill level to understand CHARGE syndrome, work well on a team, communicate professionally with others within and outside Texas Chargers, manage a budget, generate new ideas, and motivate others.

We are looking for individuals with expertise in multiple areas, including business, management, fundraising, marketing, finance, education, communication, and/or CHARGE syndrome.

Each applicant should have:

Attended at least one Texas Charger's Retreat;

Have at least 3 hour a month to commit to Texas Chargers;

Been involved in Texas Chargers or other organization serving the deafblind community in some capacity. (special projects, employment, fundraising, volunteering, etc.);

The ability to attend Texas Chargers Retreat every year;

The ability to participate in monthly board meetings (held virtually);

The ability and skills needed to advance the mission of Texas Chargers;

The ability to fundraise for the benefit of Texas Chargers;

Be 18 years of age or older;

Serve a 4 year term;
