 UPHOLSTERER JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Upholsterer at Crown Home Designs Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the production process by applying upholstery to furniture pieces. You will be responsible for transforming raw furniture frames into finished products that meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Preparation:

   - Selecting and preparing appropriate upholstery materials, including fabric, leather, and padding.

   - Ensuring materials align with production specifications and quality standards.

 

2. Upholstery Application:

   - Applying upholstery to furniture frames using staple guns, glue, or other appropriate methods.

   - Ensuring a precise and seamless fit for a polished appearance.

 

3. Customization and Detailing:

   - Adhering to design specifications and customizing upholstery to meet specific client requests.

   - Adding decorative elements and details as required.

 

4. Quality Control:

   - Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to design specifications.

   - Addressing any defects or inconsistencies in the upholstery.

 

5. Collaboration:

   - Collaborating with other departments, including design, woodworking, and finishing, to ensure a cohesive and high-quality final product.
