CARPENTER JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Carpenter at Crown Home Designs Ltd, you will be a vital part of our production team, contributing to the creation of high-quality furniture. Your role involves crafting and assembling wooden components to build furniture pieces, ensuring precision, durability, and adherence to design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Blueprint Interpretation:
- Reading and interpreting furniture blueprints and design specifications.
- Understanding project requirements and ensuring accurate execution.
2. Woodworking and Fabrication:
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling wooden components to construct furniture frames and structures.
- Using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders, with precision.
3. Joinery and Assembly:
- Implementing various woodworking joinery techniques to create strong and durable connections.
- Assembling furniture components accurately to ensure structural integrity.
4. Material Selection:
- Selecting appropriate wood and other materials based on project requirements.
- Ensuring materials meet quality standards and design specifications.
5. Customization and Detailing:
- Incorporating custom details, carvings, or other design elements as specified in the project.
- Paying attention to aesthetic details to achieve a high-quality finish.
6. Quality Control:
- Inspecting completed furniture pieces to ensure they meet quality standards and design requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education and Training:
