1. Enrolment
1.1 The minimum enrolment at Amoré is one term unless otherwise discussed (according to Western Australian Public School Term dates, lessons on recognised public holidays will be discussed on an individual basis)
1.2 Enrolment fees are as described in the enrolment form. Late arrivals will not extend the lesson beyond the enrolled time slot.
1.3 All students are granted one trial lesson before committing to regular lessons.
1.4 Payment for the term is required before the commencement of regular classes/lessons. If payment is not received by this date, Amoré Music reserves the right to withdraw the student from classes and replace that place with another student on the waitlist.
1.5 Enrolment is continuous for the following terms until the end of 2024. It is the students'/parents' responsibility to provide a minimum of two (2) weeks notice to Amoré if you do not intend to continue lessons for the following term.
1.6 If a student wishes to withdraw from lessons, notification is required two (2) weeks in advance of the final lesson to avoid further financial penalty. If this notice is not given, full fees are payable for that two week period.
2. Fees
2.1 The term fee should be paid by the due date stated in your invoice
2.2 This payment will secure a set day and time for each week of the term that you are enrolling in
3. Cancellations, Refunds and Credits
3.1 For individual lessons, a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours notice is required to cancel a lesson and issue a make up lesson. If this notice is not given, the student forfeits this lesson and no make up is issued.
3.2 In the case of twenty-four (24) hours notice, all efforts will be made to schedule a make up lesson. Please note that this make up lesson may be held with a substitute teacher.
3.3 If a make up lesson is scheduled and the student misses the make up lesson, this lesson is then forefeited.
3.4 If a student is unwell (sore throat, flu-like symptoms), please do not attend the studio. A lesson via zoom will be offered.
3.3 If a student wishes to take a holiday within the school term for a longer duration of two (2) weeks and wishes to hold their space, a 'holding' fee is required to maintain this lesson time.
3.4 For classes, Amoré is not required to credit or provide a make up lesson for any reason.
3.5 In the event of a lesson cancellation by the teacher, a suitable substitute teacher will be provided. Alternatively, a credit will be issued for a lesson in the following term or by arrangement with the teacher.
3.6 In the event that a teacher must cancel a lesson you will be notified by a phone call or text message. Please ensure that Amoré has current contact details.
