The FOBCAS certificate program is only available to adults with income under $70,000/year.

Certificate Program Details

NOTE: You will need to get a certificate prior to scheduling an appointment.

Eligibility:
- Adult owner earning under 70,000/year
Proof of Eligibility:
- Previous year's filed IRS form 1040, or
- Previous year's filed IRS 1040SR
Prices:
- Male Cat $ 100 (both testes must be in scrotal sac)
- Female Cat $140
NOTE: These prices do not include vaccines nor a cones

Price includes:
- Surgery
- A brief pre-surgical exam to assess anesthetic risks. This is NOT a complete exam.
- Short-acting anesthetics with reversal agents
- A pain-relief injection that lasts for the day of surgery
- Access to the on-line store if the client requests it (prices for items sold there are listed on the store website)
Available at extra price (ONLY for pets getting surgery):
- Pain relief medication for at-home use (recommended for all friendly cats)
- FVRCP (distemper vaccine)
- Rabies
- FIV/FeLV testing
- Advantage Multi applied or sold by the dose
- Nail Trim
- Ear cleaning
- Cone/E-collar (rarely needed)
- Pre-operative blood testing (requires separate appointment)
- Microchips with lifetime regsitration
- Umbilical hernia repair
How it Works:
- Gather your proof of income, make a copy, and black out your social security number
- Click next to apply for a certificate and upload your eligibility papers
- Monitor your e-mail
We will send an email with a certificate and the link to set up your surgery appointment. NOTE: You will need your certificate number when you make your appointment and you will need your actual certificate the morning of surgery.

Cat Retained Testicle Policy

There is an extra charge for retained testicles. The charge varies depending on whether the testes are internal or external. Please tell the staff when you drop off if you do not want the cat neutered in the event they will incurr these extra charges. In such cases, you will be charged for the anesthesia as we need to anesthetize the cats before knowing whether they have retained testes.
