CCPERB Experience
The Canadian Cultural Property Export Review Board (CCPERB) is an independent, quasi-judicial administrative tribunal established under the Cultural Property Export and Import Act. CCPERB certifies cultural property for income tax purposes. Cultural property refers to artistic, historic, or scientific objects that may fall into any of the categories defined by CCPERB. NAAB believes that mentorship opportunities can benefit emerging appraisers, seasoned appraisers and strengthen the Canadian appraisal community. To this end, opportunities for mentorship may be offered, wherever possible, for the purpose of professional development, knowledge sharing, and community building. Please note that mentorship is neither guaranteed nor mandatory.
