    ADOPTION APPLICATION

IMPORTANT: We NEVER ask for an adoption fee upfront.  We will always speak first and meet in person so that you can see and evaluate your new cat or kitten.  Please let us know if you are ever asked for any payment in advance of formally adopting your pet and having received their medical records.

If you did not receive this url via ccatrescue@outlook.com or cecdev@hotmail.com, or directly from us at (561) 517-7609, or our official posting sites like adoptapet.com, please speak with us first to ensure your preferred cat or kitten is available and to discuss preliminaries -- you probably have lots of questions which we're always very happy to answer.

Our adoption region is primarily in Palm Beach County and neighboring counties; we also serve the South Hills area of Pittsburgh.

All of our adoptable pets are fully vetted; spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, underwent deworming protocol, and monthly flea preventative.  They are tested for the feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus.

    • Thank you for taking the time to complete the application; we earnestly appreciate your interest in a rescue cat!

Adopting a pet is a serious responsibility. A pet you adopt today will likely be a part of your family for the next 10 to 20 years. Each pet has its own personality and preferences that you can help shape through love and conscientious training. A cat requires quality time each day with its family and maintenance such as litter box cleaning, feeding, petting, and brushing.  Cats require special food and regular veterinary care including shots and preventative medications. In some cases, expenses could exceed $1,000 a year.

We work with all of our cats and kittens very closely and weigh every factor available to us to make the best possible match.

    • Veterinary care can be expensive, sometime in excess of $1000 or more. Are you prepared to accept the financial and personal responsibility entailed?*
    • Can you afford routine veterinary visits, including vaccinations, exams, dental care, etc.?*
    • If you haven't owned a cat or kitten before, it's essential that they receive your attention, affection and patience. You must be prepared to make necessary accommodations to meet your new cat's needs. Are you ready for this life commitment?*
