The Kearns STEM Teaching Fellows will assist in the creation of STEM curriculum for a pre-college TRIO programs, programs designed for low-income and first-generation college students. Teaching Fellows should currently work with a UR Faculty Member who is partnering with the Kearns Center through a NSF-funded grant or other broadening participation activities.
Fellows will either:
- develop and implement curriculum for a week-long pre-college summer course or
- develop a research project for a high school STEMtern and serve as research mentor the STEMtern
Due to limitied funding, a maximum of one fellow will be selected for each course/research project.
