Perry Photo Challenge 2026
The first 20 students to register will be invited to participate in the competition. Registrants 21-30 will be placed on a waitlist in the order they register. Contestants and waitlisted students will receive an email confirmation with the registration number within 24 hours of registering. If you are on the waitlist and a contestant drops out before the competition begins, you will be offered a spot to compete.
Competition Details
There will be a pre-meeting on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The competition portion of the Perry Challenge will be from 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, through 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026. The final competition will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 6:30 p.m. All contestants must be present for the photo portion of the competition and the finals.

I commit to being present for the Perry Challenge from 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, through 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026 to capture photos and complete captions.
I commit to being present for the final competition on February 28, 2026 for judging and the final five presentations.
I commit to abiding by all contest rules, requirements and the code of ethics.
I affirm that I am a major in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
I affirm that I have two full semesters (12+ credit hours per semester) remaining before graduation and that I am not graduating before May 2027.
I understand that I will be asked to read and sign a separate agreement and that failure to do so by the requested deadline will void my eligibility for this competition.
I understand that my eligibility will be verified, and that if I am found to be ineligible, I will be disqualified.
