Media Release Form

SCIT captures photos or videos of its students or visitors from time to time to promote the school and its campus community on its website, social media, or other advertsement materials. We would only use photos or videos of you at the school or at school sponsored events if you grant us permission. Please review the Terms and Conditions below and, if you agree, complete this form to grant SCIT permission to use any photos or videos taken at the school or at a school sponsored event that you may be captured in. Do not complete this form if you do not want any captured photos or videos of you at the school or a school sponsored event to be used in any materials the school may produce.

Terms and Conditions

I hereby grant full permission to Southern California Institute of Technology (SCIT) and its employees and agents to use, reuse, publish, and/or republish in whole or in part, in any medium the photographic or video images of me on SCIT's property or at any SCIT sanctioned event (herein referred to as "media") without restrictions as to changes or alteration, as they are used in conjunction with the representation and promotion of SCIT.

The media may include, but is not limited to, digital images, renderings, voices, video recordings, audio clips or accompanying written descriptions.

The media may be used in any manner without notifying me, such as college-sponsored websites, publications, promotions, broadcasts, advertisements, social media platforms, posters and slides, as well as for non-college uses. 

I waive any rights to inspect or approve the media or any finished images or videos that may be used with them, or to be compensated for them. I further understand that the media or any finished images or videos that may be used with them are the sole property of SCIT, and that I shall have no right or interest in them. 

I release SCIT and its employees and agents, including any firm authorized to publish and/or distribute a finished product containing the media, from any claims, damages or liability which I may ever have in connection with the taking or use of the media.

I have read this release before signing, I understand its contents, meaning and impact, and I freely accept the terms.
