Our dogs are a part of our family, and we raise them with the same love and affection that they will receive in their forever homes. All our puppies are bred for their temperament, ensuring that they are the perfect match for families and individuals alike. When you bring home a puppy from us, you are becoming a part of the Ochaye family. We are committed to providing lifetime support to all of our puppy owners.

This form is to help us learn about you and your lifestyle so we can help you find a puppy best suited to your lifestyle as a lifelong companion.

All puppies are vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, DNA tested and have eyes cleared before leaving. They will be placed on limited register with DogsQLD (NOT for showing or breeding). Puppies will come with a puppy pack, 30 day free pet insurance and a life time of breeder support.

Potential homes whose applications match particular puppies based on our current pairing will be contacted and offered to come visit the puppies once they are 5-6 weeks old. We can also organise for facetime/zoom meetings or phone calls to discuss more about the puppy.

We understand that getting a puppy is a big decision, we're here to help make that process easier for you. Please tell me about what you are looking for in your search for an Australian Shepherd.

Are you hoping for a couch potato best friend, a family dog, a performance prospect, show prospect, friend to go in adventures with or therapy / assistance dog?

Australian Shepherds offer a considerable variety within the breed. There will likely be Natural bob tails or full tails. They come in 4 different colours: Black Tri, Red Tri, Blue Merle and Red Merle.

While we understand that people have preferences, we will never allocate puppies solely based on coat color or looks. Each colour and tail type is as beautiful as the next and offers no difference to the dog's temperament, energy level or needs. Our goal is to help you find the perfect puppy that will fit seamlessly into your life and your family.

If you are only looking for a merle and are unwilling to consider the breed's solid colours please do not proceed with your application.
