🩺 Paid Sick Leave
Eligibility: Available after 90 days of employment.
Use: For your own health condition or preventative care, or that of a family member (child, parent, spouse, registered domestic partner, grandparent, grandchild, or sibling).
🌴 PTO (Paid Time Off)
Eligibility: Employees become eligible for PTO after completing 250 hours of work.
Notice: Request at least 2 weeks in advance, when possible.
Use: For personal time, travel, rest, or other non-medical reasons.
🕓 Unpaid Time Off
Notice: Request at least 2 weeks in advance, when possible.
Use: When no paid time is available or under special circumstances.
🕊️ Bereavement Leave
Eligibility: Available after 30 days of employment.
Notice: Notify the office as soon as possible and submit a time-off request.
Use: For the death of a family member (includes close relatives).
Time Off: Up to 5 days — 3 paid, 2 unpaid.

Not Automatic: Submitting a request does not guarantee approval — please confirm with the office after submission.
Combining Leave Types: If using a combination of PTO and Paid Sick Leave, specify your preference — e.g., “Use PTO first, then PSL” or “Use PSL first, then remaining PTO.”
