    Our goal is to assemble the finest display of equine artwork. The focus in the jurying
    process will be to select paintings, drawings and sculptures of the highest quality, with emphasis
    on diversity in style and subject matter.
     
    General Information


    Entry Forms, JPEG images and mailed payment must be received or postmarked by Midnight, Sunday, October 26, 2025.
     
    Artwork of original concept and design only
     
    Submission must be originally conceived from the artist's own reference, own drawing and must have been self-painted, no digital or AI artwork will be accepted. No direct copies or derivatives of stock images, historic photos or any reference you do not hold the copyright to are allowed. No workshop pieces.
     
    ·      2D Entries must have been painted in the last 3 years and not have been accepted into any previous AAEA
    exhibit.
    ·      Sculptures must have been created in the last 5 years and not accepted into any previous AAEA Exhibit.
    ·      Maximum entries: three (3).
    ·      The artist retains the copyright to his/her image(s). However, accepted images do become part of AAEA on-line exhibit archives and may be used for future AAEA event promotions.
    ·      Participating artists must be 18 years of age or older and currently living in North America.
    ·      Artwork does not have to be for sale and may be marked NFS or Private Collection. Saleable works are encouraged and is the responsibility of the artist. A contact link will be provided for all artists’ works.
    ·      Notification will be emailed on or about November 23, 2025.
    ·      Read this entire prospectus carefully. Any piece that does not meet all entry criteria will be automatically rejected, and the entry fee will not be refunded. This includes any artwork that is a duplicated entry from past AAEA exhibits.
     

  • Entry Information

    Eligibility: This competition is open to all artists 18 and up who live in North America.
    Online Submissions —Deadline: Midnight October 26, 2025.
     
    Electronic applications and JPEG must be completed and submitted on-line using the link provided. Payments can be made on-line or by mailing a check*.
     
    JPEG Images should be between 1400 and 4000 pixels at the largest dimension. Failure to stay within these perimeters may eliminate the artwork for further review.
     
     
     

  • Entry Fee
     
    Members electronic jurying fee is $25 (USD) for up to three entrees.
    Non-Members $35.00 (USD) for up for three entrees.
     
    Entry Form and Payments made through PayPal at aaea.info.
     
    *Entry fees paid by check must be accompanied by a completed entry form* and postmarked no later than October 26, 2025, mail to:

    *JPEG images are to be submitted on-line with the on-line submission form. When completing the form be sure to check “Pay by check” box before hitting submit.
