FFLA 2026 MEDAL OF HONOR AWARD
The Florida Bar Foundation's new name is FFLA.
LAWYER NOMINATION FORM
If the nominee is not selected in this award year, their nomination will be considered for the two following years.
Award Criteria:
The Medal of Honor will be awarded to a member of The Florida Bar who has demonstrated his or her dedication to the objectives of The Florida Bar as set out in the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar:
"...to inculcate in its members the principles of duty and service to the public, to improve the administration of justice, and to advance the science of jurisprudence."
Eligibility:
The nominee must be a Florida resident who is a member in good standing of The Florida Bar, but need not be a member of FFLA. The nominee must be actively engaged in a profession relative to the practice of law including, but not limited to, practicing lawyers, judges, or teachers in the legal field.
Generally, the Medal of Honor Award is not given to recognize achievements undertaken as part of an individual's employment. However, FFLA recognizes that there are individuals whose achievements in their professional capacity are so significant as to be above and beyond the expectations of their assigned duties.
NOTE:
1. Individuals and groups are limited to one nomination per year.
2. Nomination forms submitted with only a curriculum vitae or resume will not be considered.
