Unlimited Electrical Contractor exam is offered in two parts: a Business section and a Technical/Safety section.
Both of these exams are offered by Pearson Vue after the state has approved the student to take the test. They are computer based exams offered in 22 locations across the state and others nationwide.
When you schedule the exam, you get to pick the day and time based on what is available.
The exam is open book and we recommend that each student get familiar with all of their books to better guarantee a passing grade.
During our classes, the student will highlight material in the reference books and take exams to develop their test-taking ability. We also show all the various types of math problems encountered and explain the format of the exam
BUSINESS EXAM
Unlimited Electrical Contractor exam have the same business requirement covering topics such as contracts, insurance & bonding, licensing laws, taxes and accounting. This exam has 50 questions in 2 ½ hours.
TECHNICAL/ SAFETY
This exam has 100 questions in 5 hours covering topics such as general electrical principles, wiring & materials, OSHA, life safety, ADA, signs and alarms.
On the first night we will address applications, requirements and and Fees
