The Wink family is honored to support HCHS students and their continued path towards a college degree. The Wink family saw their first immediate family member graduate college in 1995. Since then, the family has grown and evolved. They now have many college graduates among their extended family. The Wink family contributes much of its success to the matriarch Linda Wink-Berry who helped raise them and spent multiple decades working for Bonifay Elementary School as a teacher’s aide eventually working across most grade levels and departments. The patriarch of the family was Louis Wink who passed away in 2003 was known throughout the region as a great father, farmer, and herbalist. Their sons Leon (HCHS class of 91), Scott (HCHS class of 95), and PJ (HCHS class of 98) appreciate all the support from their wives (including Valerie HCHS class of 2001), family (Robert Berry, Linda's 2nd husband, HCHS Class of 65) and the educators at BK8 (formerly BES and BMS) and HCHS that helped them become successful and productive members of their communities. STEAM careers are held in high esteem by the family as most of them excelled in the courses and careers included in these disciplines. The Wink family wishes you all the best as you complete your high school education at HCHS. They hope that no matter where your career and life lead you that you keep honor and integrity as a core value throughout your journey. Lastly, they hope you too remember to give back in time and treasure to those that helped you succeed.
