The IC Shuk (marketplace), a highlight of every IC, is where attendees can purchase swag (merchandise) from chapters, councils, regions, and countries all around the order. Participants can take their new BBYO merchandise back to their community and display the BBYO Movement spirit year-round.
All chapters, regions, councils, and communities are encouraged to sell items at the IC Shuk. This is a great opportunity for you to raise funds for your chapter or community and share your pride!
As is the long-standing tradition, 10% of all IC Shuk sales revenue is contributed to BBYO's International Service Fund (ISF). For more information on the ISF, or to brainstorm on what’s going to fly off the shelves at this year’s IC Shuk, be in touch with the International Gizborim, Ilan Mops and Sophie Goodman.
Please review the procedures in place for the IC Shuk:
- Items must be submitted by January 23rd on the IC website. All submissions must include a picture of the item for use in the IC Shuk Catalog in the IC Mobile App.
- Items that are shipped to IC must arrive by February 5th to the address indicated in your Shuk Submission confirmation email. Once your package has been shipped, please complete the IC Shipping Form to submit your tracking information. Shipping is at the expense of the chapter or community. Please note that there will be an additional $15 per box receiving fee deducted from your sales revenue for items that are shipped to IC.
- Items that are brought with you in your luggage can be dropped off at the shuk when you arrive. There is no fee for items that are brought in your luggage.
- Remember to include a return shipping label if you’d like leftover items shipped back to you. Otherwise you can pick up any unsold items before you leave IC.
- About 6-8 weeks after IC, funds will be distributed to all communities.
All items being sold will be reviewed to ensure that they do not misrepresent the BBYO brand. Items may not be sold with any trademarked or copyrighted name, image, or brand, or with the phrase "B'nai B'rith Youth Organization" or an outdated version of the BBYO logo. If your submission is not approved you will be notified within 3 business days. Otherwise, your submission is approved and you will not be notified.
