Are you a ceramic artist that wants to become an arts educator and share your passion for art?
Join the Umpqua Valley Arts Team!
UVA is passionate about providing Douglas County and beyond with arts education opportunities that will allow them to learn new artistic skills and techniques, but also allow them to stretch their imagination and creativity. As part of our mission to provide art and cultural experiences to the community, we are looking to expand the horizons of our educational programming and include a variety of options for youth and adults.
All we need, is a team of fun and creative educators like you!
UVA is currently seeking arts educators that can provide classes and workshops involving a variety of clay techniques for all age ranges, included youth to adult!
These classes and/or workshops will take place in UVA's The Clay Place, a ceramic studio that offers ceramic artists a high-quality, professional studio environment, and is the biggest community clay studio in the Umpqua Valley. Ceramic instructors will have access to the many amenities in the studio including kick and electric wheels, a slab roller, a pugmill, glazes, and kilns.
If you would be interested in partnering with UVA to teach ceramic classes or workshops, please fill out the form with details about your experience with clay, your experience working in a community studio, and your experience as an instructor. If you have a specific class or series of workshops you've developed that you would like to teach, please be sure to share the details with us. We look forward to working with you to bring more arts education programming to Douglas County!
