Which of these optional services can your organization provide?
Equipment Access - Makers may benefit from equipment such as a sewing machine, printer, or tools for woodworking, leather crafting, or jewelry making. Will you have equipment available for makers to use?
Packaging & Shipping Stations - Some sponsors make space and provide materials ready for when it’s time to pack and ship those beautiful creations. This can include a table, bubble wrap, packing tape, string, labels, pens, etc.
Product & Pricing Guidance - Will your organization help provide tips to makers on what to make or how to price it?
In-Person Display Areas - Some sponsors provide special spots where makers can showcase and sell their items directly to customers.
Quality Improvement Feedback - Will you have resources to offer feedback to elevate the quality of our makers’ products?
Skill-Boosting Training - Will you plan to offer some form of training for makers? This could include workshops, classes, mentors, etc.
Creative Collaboration Sessions - Will you organize group collaboration meetings to help connect your maker community and help generate creative ideas?
Material Provision - Will you offer materials such as wood, cloth, yarn, leather, metals, beads, etc. Some of these items may be from donations.
Material Purchase Support - Will you provide support or “Scholarships” to help makers with the purchase of materials
Child Care Support during Maker hours - Will you offer child care options for makers while they’re busy crafting?
