Wenke Greenhouses knows that beautification has a profound impact on all aspects of a community’s success.

In that effort, we have been donating plants to many organizations through our Good Neighbor Day Program. These donations provide many local churches, schools, non-profit organizations and local community gardens the opportunity to beautify their surroundings in an economy where flowers and plants can sometimes be last on the list or not on the list at all. 

Good Neighbor Days are specified days that we offer extra plant material to local, non-profit groups at no charge for organizations to use to beautify the community. This progam is intended for non-profit organizations in Kalamazoo County. 

Organizations must fill out an application to be considered for participation. Please complete and return this application if you would like to be considered for this program. You will need to explain how your organizaton will use this donated plant material in the community. We will review your application and let you know if you qualify for our program. Incomplete applications will not be processed. 

Please allow at least 2 weeks for application review. 

*We do recognize that there are many organizations without non-profit status that would still like to participate in our Good Neighbor Day program. Please be sure to note on your application that you do not have a non-profit status and be sure to let us know where and how you will use the donated plant material in the community. We will review your application and let you know if your organization qualifies. 

Thank you for your interest in our program, but organizations outside of Kalamazoo County are not currently eligible for our Good Neighbor Day progarm.
