SAISA Membership fees 2024
- Membership is from 1 January to 31 December
- Late fees do not apply to new members joining throughout the year
- There is no pro rata joining fee, for part way through the year
- Members must renew each year prior to taking part in any Sanctioned or Un-sanctioned events (competitions, seminars, tests, shows)
- Registration with the national body for ice skating, Ice Skating Australia Inc. (ISA), is covered in the fee except for Aussie Skaters who must be registered with a skate school
- The fee for insurance under ISA's National Insurance Scheme is also included in the membership fee (except for Aussie Skates, see next dot point). The scheme has sports injury, sports management and liability cover
- The Aussie Skater membership fee acknowledges that registered Aussie Skaters are already covered under Aussie Skate National Registration and Insurance Scheme
- Aussie Skate members may upgrade to ISA Skater level members at any time it is required by applying for the upgrade membership and paying the difference in fees

AFFILIATED CLUBS

Memberships must ensure SAISA has been provided with the Club's current constitution and any amendments, alterations and by-laws. To facilitate good communication a list of the current committee members should be supplied, along with expected delegates' names and contact details (updated as necessary).

A copy of the most recent Annual Report and Financial Statements would be beneficial and will be kept confidential.

MEMBERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

As a SKATER you agree to abide by Rink Etiquette rules, SAISA Codes of Conduct and all SAISA & ISA policies and procedures throughout your membership.

As a PARENT signing for a skater under the age of 18 years, an OFFICIAL or COACH you also agree to abide by and support Rink Etiqette rules and SAISA Codes of Conduct and all SAISA & ISA policies and procedures throughout your membership

CLUBS agree to supporting and promoting Rink Etiquette rules and SAISA Codes of Conduct and all relevant SAISA & ISA policies
SAISA MEMBERSHIP SURVEY QUESTION Are you happy for SAISA to include the member's name in a list of current financial members on the SAISA website. The list would consist of the Member's name, Member number and POA (proof of age) number (if relevant). It will not include birthdates or contact details. Aussie Skate members will also be indicated as being Aussie Skaters. The list would be updated as often as possible but at least monthly.*
