Ready for 103 Programs?

To join this 103 program, I certify that, if asked, I can execute at least 80% of the 101, 102a, and 102b material with a strong level of competence. (If not, then repeating a 102 program will serve you best. Repeating material leads to much faster progress than stacking new, more difficult material, onto a shaky foundation). Alternatively, or if I have outside experience, I have been given the green light by the director. Questions? Call 844-543-7645

Program Details

I am enrolling in one or more dance programs with Movers and Shakers Salsa and Bachata Dance Academy.
I understand that the program must be paid in advance and that payments are non-refundable, non-cancelable, and non-transferable to other types of services or products.
Class locations are designated on main website.
The instructors reserve the right to edit class times and/or locations when, in their sole discretion, extenuating circumstances exist. Missed classes cannot be made up. However, new material will be filmed at the end of each class to help students catch up.

Positivity and Safe Space

While a student in the academy, I agree to…

Bring positive energy to the academy and avoid negative energy
Avoid gossip, and shut down gossip if it's brought to me
Respect and honor my classmates both on and off the dance floor
Not engage in any type of romance with instructors, directors, or staff
Contact student support or the academy director promptly with any concerns

Media Release

I consent to the photographing and video recording of myself and reproduction and/or use of these photographs and/or recordings in whole or in parts, and alone or with other products, for advertising, publicity, or other commercial purposes domestically and internationally in perpetuity.

I hereby release Movers and Shakers Salsa and Bachata Dance Academy, Daniel Kalman, and all other associated instructors or assistant instructors and any of their associated or affiliated companies, their directors, officers, agents, employees and customers, and appointed advertising agencies, their directors, officers, agents and employees from all financial claims and claims of every kind on account of such use.

Liability Release

I understand that there are risks of physical injury associated with, arising out of and inherent to the activity of dance. Furthermore, I understand that students will be in close contact with one another and there are risks associated with contracting the Covid-19 virus. In recognition of this acknowledged risk of injury, I knowingly and voluntarily waive all right and/or causes of action of any kind, including any and all claims of negligence arising as a result of such activity from which liability could accrue to Movers and Shakers Salsa and Bachata Dance Academy, Daniel Kalman, it’s instructors, directors, assistant instructors, officers, agents, employees, instructors, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and all affiliated entities (hereinafter collectively referred to as “The Company”).

I hereby agree to release The Company and hold The Company harmless of all liability, and hereby acknowledge that I knowingly and voluntarily assume full responsibility for all risks of physical injury arising out of active participation in dance.

I am aware that this is a release of liability and an acknowledgement of my voluntary and knowing assumption of the risk of injury. I have signed this document voluntarily and of my own free will in exchange for the privilege of participation.
