Student Loan Repayment for Clinical Positions Overview

What is it?

Goodwin Living Student Loan Repayment for Clinical Positions is made available through the generosity of donors to the Goodwin Living Foundation. Residents, family members, friends, and other colleagues donate to this fund in gratitude for the Goodwin Living community.

Goodwin Living Student Loan Repayment for Clinical Positions covers student loans from their most advanced degree college or training program that has been completed and is required to be qualified for their current clinical position. Applicants of this program are subject to eligible maximum amounts per calendar year (Jan 1.-Dec. 31).

Please note: Both tuition assistance and student loan repayment cannot be requested within the same calendar year.

Am I eligible?

Applicants must be full-time or part-time clinical team members, have worked a minimum of six months at Goodwin Living and have student loans from a completed college degree or training program.
Applicants must be in good standing. Team members who have received written warnings during the past year of employment may not be eligible for student loan repayment. Excessive absenteeism and tardiness may result in denial of student loan repayment.
Eligible clinical positions include:
- Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant
- Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Speech Therapist
- Registered Nurse
- Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- CNA
- Med Tech
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Licensed Social Worker (or those working towards licensure)
- Licensed Therapeutic Recreational Team Member
- Licensed Music and Art Therapist
- Registered Dietician
- Member Services Facilitator
Each Calendar Year (Jan 1 - Dec 31) team members are eligible to receive up to the following amounts based on years of aggregate service:

Part Time	6 months to 23 months	Up to $1,313
Part Time	24 months or more	Up to $2,625
