    Conference Logistics

    With 100+ attendees, the State Leadership Conference will take place from Friday, February 27 - Saturday, February 28, 2026. Workshop tracks for Collegiate will take place on Saturday, February 28 from 9:30 am - 12:15 pm. Anticipated attendance is 25-75 attendees for each workshop. 

     

    Workshop Set-Up

    The standard workshop will be theater-style seating, a projector (HDMI connection), and a speaker with a standard audio jack. Iowa FBLA will attempt to accommodate special room setups, depending on the space available. Workshop slots will be 45 minutes long. 

     

    Important Dates

    February 5: Deadline to submit workshop proposals

    February 12: Confirmation of selected workshops

    February 28: Workshop presentation at SLC

  • While the expectation is that most sessions are voluntary, we do have a small budget for compensation and/or expenses of our speakers. Proposals providing exceptional value to members and/or a clear need for financial support will be considered as funding allows.
