  • 2025 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

  • This $1,000 - $2,000 scholarship was established by Mary Houliston MacDonald. She wanted to make it possible for women to have the means to receive or complete their education or training to be independent. This scholarship can only be applied to tuition, fees, and books. 

    TO BE ELIGIBLE, APPLICANTS MUST:

    1. Be a resident of Broward County
    2. Be a woman, 28 years of age or older
    3. Has been abandoned by her husband or the father of her children, widowed, or divorced
    4. Demonstrate financial need
    5. Plan to or currently attend an accredited College, University, or Vocational school
    6. Have an accumulated GPA of 2.0, if currently attending school. (Applicant must provide most current transcripts.)
