  • PC4A Transfer Scholarship Application

  • One of the three main objectives of the DoD-funded PC4A Project is to increase transfer rates to four-year institutions.  To help us reach this objective, we're offering scholarships to all PC4A partner students/alumni who transfer into the Computer Science - Cybersecurity Track at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).  Complete the fields below to apply, and contact us at pc4a-stem@iup.edu with any questions.

  • Scholarship Benefits

    • Full in-state tuition provided for two semesters (12-18 credits per semester), up to $8,000.
    • Students who complete their first year at IUP with a GPA of 3.0 or higher will be awarded the scholarship for an additional year!
    • Opportunities to join research projects with Computer Science faculty.
    • Eligibile to apply for an additional year of funding (if available).

    Eligibility Requirements

    • Must be a current student or graduate from a PC4A Partner School:
      • Bucks County Community College
      • Butler County Community College
      • Montgomery County Community College
      • Northampton Community College
      • Penn Highlands Community College
      • Westmoreland County Community College
    • If the applicant is a graduate, they must have graduated within the last 5 years, or have graduated within the last 10 years and worked in a computer science related field after graduation.
    • Must enroll in IUP's Computer Science - Cybersecurity track bachelor's degree program.
    • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
    • Must maintain full-time status and a GPA of 3.0 throughout award year.

    Application Deadlines

    Applications for Fall 2024 enrollment are due no later than April 15, 2024. All applicants will be notified of their acceptance status by May 15, 2024.

  • Please submit one letter of recommendation from a professor or employer who has knowledge of your experience and abilities. Recommendation letters must be signed (digitally or in ink), on letterhead, and dated. PDF's only.

    NOTE: To assist with the application review process, please name the file Last Name, First Name - Recommendation.
