OPEN LETTER TO EMBASSY: We Are United for Safe, Quality Care that Our Residents Deserve
We – the undersigned workers from every facility, department, and shift – make our Embassy nursing homes run. It’s our work that residents and their families count on everyday, and we are proud to serve them. We carried our nursing home through the Covid-19 pandemic, and we worked hard to win you a historic $600 million in annual state funding.

All we are asking for is the same pay and treatment that other employers across Pennsylvania have already agreed to provide their workers in recognition of their hard work and dedication. Everyone works hard in a nursing home to provide quality care for our residents, and no one should be left behind.

We are UNITED for a 15-month master agreement across Hearthside, Hillsdale, Park Ave, and Woodland Park that includes:
- Competitive and livable wages for ALL
- The Union’s Health & Welfare Fund for ALL
- The Training and Education Fund for ALL
- Safe Staffing: Commitment to the state ratios and enforceable language
- Successorship: Protection in the event of a sale
- Adequate Time Off: To prevent burnout and provide the best possible care
