Along with your abstract, please submit a short presenter's bio along with a headshot in a separate Word document. Note: If they are multiple authors, only a bio of the presenting author is needed. Feel free to include information about your work and education history as well as info about what you like to do outside of ADFS. Below is an example:
Robert Lockwood is a Senior Forensic Scientist in the Toxicology section, where he has worked since 2020. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Verona in beautiful Verona, Italy. He holds an M.S. in Forensic Science from the University of New Haven (CT) and a B.S. in Chemistry from Southwestern University (TX). When not working, he enjoys traveling to see friends and family, especially those with a craft brewery nearby!
Scientific Abstracts: The abstract should not exceed 500 words and should be written using the following headers:
Background/Introduction:
Objective:
Methods:
Results:
Conclusion/Discussion:
All Other Abstracts: The abstract should not exceed 500 words and should contain:
1) An introduction regarding the topic to be discussed
2) 2-3 objectives of the presentation, i.e., what do you hope an audience member will learn from this presentation? Example below:
After hearing this presentation, listeners will have a better understanding of how different communication styles can impact the ability of a leader to convey an intended meaning.
