Leadership Initiatives partners with admissions officers from prestigious undergraduate, medical, law, and business schools to provide free, first-hand advice on the college application process. In past years, Leadership Initiatives students have been able to have their questions answered by representatives from Duke University, the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, Emory University, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of California Los Angeles, among others.
During these panels, students can ask questions about the general process or directly to admissions officers with questions ranging from utilizing test scores, weighing extracurricular activities, how to maximize resumes, how to craft the perfect Common Application essay, and any other questions students or parents would like clarification on.
This Spring, Leadership Initiatives will be hosting five panels that students and parents can join. The first panel is an undergraduate students panel where current students from various prestigious universities will speak to their tips for balancing applications with high school demands, what extracurriculars they leveraged in their application, and more.
We will also be hosting a panel with representatives from leading undergraduate institutions where families can ask questions relating to the college application process and how they can begin preparing to apply or how to apply to schools.
Our Spring panels will end with a series of career-specific panels focused on how students can begin preparing for a future application to Medical School, Law School, or a Business/MBA Program.
As we get closer to the panel dates, you will be emailed a Zoom Webinar link to join for any of the panels you confirm registration for below. If you have any questions about the Leadership Initiatives college panels or any other benefits you are eligible for, please feel free to email us at admin@lichange.org.
