  • Lofty CRM Configuration

    Please complete the following steps to configure your Lofty CRM. If you have already completed certain steps, please certify the step is completed by checking the box and move on to the next step.
  • Step 1 of CRM Configuration

    Activate your Lofty Account

    You should have already received an email inviting you to Lofty. If you have not done so already, please accept the invitation.

    Update your Lofty Signature

    1. Go to Settings --> Communication --> Email --> Email Signature (you may have to click Explore Lofty first) and review your Email Signature. If you need to make any changes, click Edit and hit Save when finished.

    2. Check the box Apply this signature to ALL outgoing emails.

    Update your Lofty Preferences

    Go to Settings --> My User Preferences --> Profile

    1. Update your Time Zone to Central Time

    2. Select your Working Hours

    3. Verify all your information is correct, including your email address. 

    ❗If you wish to use an email other than your company email, you will need to get special permission and configuration instructions. Please e-mail info@refinerrealty.com if you want to go this route.

    Verify MLS Integration

    Please confirm that your MLS Integration is verified in Lofty. Here are the instructions to follow:

    1. Click on Website --> (you may have to click Explore Lofty first) and wait for a separate page to open.

    2. Select Listings. For both RealTracs VOW and IDX, Your Name should be listed under Applicant Agent, and the Associated Office should be Refiner Realty LLC.

    If you see + Add Associated Agent, please click and search for your name as listed in your RealTracs profile. Once found, assign your name and complete by entering the SMS verification code sent to your phone.

    If you see + Add Associated Office, please click and search for Refiner Realty LLC and assign our office to your profile. 

    Step 6 of CRM Configuration

    Go to Your Website Editor

    If you opted for an Agent Website, it will be created for you. If you would like to make any changes, here is how you do so: 

    1. Click Editor on the Website page.

    3. Select the Edit Icon and edit the applicable section. You can add your logo to the Top Bar by clicking the Edit Icon. Not all sections are editable.

    4. If you want to change your subdomain name or add a vanity domain through Lofty, click on Settings.

    Additional Tip

    If you want to point an existing domain that you own to your Lofty Agent Website, you will need to forward your existing Domain to your Lofty Website at your Domain Provider, not through Lofty. This option is free so long as you own the domain name.

  • Facebook & Instagram Configuration

    Linking Instagram to Facebook Business Manager

    Make sure that your Business Account is linked to your Instagram Account in your Business Manager.

    ! Please note that Facebook likes to change their processes all the time so these instructions may need to be tweaked - if you run into problems, let us know.

    Here are instructions: 

    1. Click this url: https://business.facebook.com/
    2. Click All Tools in the menu 
    3. Under Manage, click on Page Settings
    4. Click Linked Accounts
    5. Ensure Instagram is selected in the menu bar and click on the blue button that says Connect Account
    6. In the pop-up window, click Connect 
    7. Ensure you Allow access to Instagram messages in Inbox and click Connect Account
    8. Enter your username and password and follow the prompts

    Configuring Social Studio in Lofty

    Your Lofty account must be connected to your Business Facebook and Instagram accounts to post social media content. 

    1. In Lofty, click on Settings --> Social Studio --> Settings --> Manage Profiles
    2. Connect Facebook and Instagram (it's a good time to connect all Social Channels, but only Facebook and Instagram (if applicable) are needed for the MM Program. 

    3. Click the Back Button and Select Create a Post --> Custom Post --> Ensure all Social Accounts you added are linked.

  • Importing Your Contacts into Lofty

    Download the Example CSV

    Download the Example CSV file where you will insert all contacts you wish to be imported to your Lofty CRM.

    TIP: You should answer all the questions below before you start adding your contacts to the CSV file, and definitely before you import your contacts into your Lofty CRM.

  • Setting up Monthly Market Reports

    Step 1: Enable Marketing Reports

    1. Enable Marketing Reports IMPORTANT

    Go to Marketing --> Auto Property Alerts --> Market Report and make sure the box Enable is checked. Make sure the Location Criteria is Same as Inquired City and Frequency is Monthly. If it is not, make these changes and select Apply.

    Step 2: Configure your CSV 

    For Each Contact you wish to receive a market report, an Inquired City (Column AE) and Inquired State (Column AF) will need to be filled in your CSV file. The Inquired City is the city that will be the subject of your market report sent to that contact.

    You can add multiple cities (with each city separated by a comma in Column AE) but please note that your client will receive one email per city on the same day which can easily be flagged as spam.

    IMPORTANT: Each contact that does not have Column AE and AF filled will not receive a Market Report automatically, and you will have to manually add one to each contact individually.

  • Setting up Monthly Market Reports

    For Existing Contacts

    You will manually have to create a marketing report for each existing contact in your database as follows:

    1. Go the People tab and select the contact that you wish to receive a monthly market report

    2. Click on Engagement --> + New Report and enter the Location (City or Zipcode) and ensure Frequency is Monthly and hit Save.

    Tag your Contacts 

    Place the tag Local in Column V of your CSV for every contact that you want to receive a copy of the Things to do in Nashville email newsletter.

    2. Drag and Drop your completed CSV or Select Upload File and follow the prompts.
