I've been leveling up by doing side quests, mostly on my own, or short-term teams.
I have related training from an academy. It hasn’t been enough to land a role yet.
I'm practicing with tutorial scrolls I find though I haven’t ventured very far.

I take the Mallet of Resilience, to think like a blacksmith, able to get my hands dirty, run my own business, and balance work-for-hire with fitting in my own substantial projects.
I'll carry the Provincial Compass, to view the world like the head of North Empire Shipping, better at making decisions according to what villagers in each region will like.
I choose the Crafter's Quill, to switch between the mindset of scholars, artists and playwrights, because my interests are broad and varied, sometimes changing weekly.

Who do you listen to when there's disagreement on what to do?* This field is required.
I do what I think is best, not out of selfishness or ego, but because I'm trying to do something specific. If someone wants something done for someone else, I'm not the right person to do it.
I listen to whoever I'm working for, whether it's a king or villagers. It's a job to do, so I'm doing it for them. I'll offer advice from my experience, but what I want isn't the point.
I'm doing this for my team. We're here for each other, so I defer to their vote or roles, I'm up for what seems best to them. They're the audience I care to impress with work I do.

How many companions do you prefer to adventure with?* This field is required.
I wish I could travel solo, if I could pull it off. I might ally for a quest or hire mercenaries - a few, temporarily, at most. When a mission ends I need to wander freely. It's not that I dislike people, I just don't want to compromise my goals or explain myself any more than I have to.
I'll work with however many people it takes to achieve the giant goals I'm aiming for. A small team can't take back the mountain from the lunar dragon or end an empire. If I need to join dozens of rebels or rise in the ranks of the king's army then I'll just have to figure that out.
Wanting to have adventures with friends is part of why I'm doing this. I'm up to meet new people to join along the way, but I'd like my crew to stay small enough for us to know each other, and to understand what each person does on our team - maybe 5-15 characters.

I accept the Blessing of Courage, to raise my odds of staying true to my vision. I'll find a way to do what I set out to do, how I think it should be done, regardless of what other people think.
I take the Blessing of Legend, so when I travel the kingdom one day villagers will have heard of my achievements before they met me - maybe not my name, but the battles I was part of.
I pick the Blessing of Stardust, for confidence that I'll understand how things work, and have practical skills for everyday life. There's no destination to me, just exploration and adventure.

How do you want to invest experience points as you level up?* This field is required.
I intend to multiclass in 2-3 skills, bringing each above average. I want to be able to make my own ideas playable. I'm not opposed to a team, because I know the quality will be better, but I don't want to rely on others being available just to test my ideas.
I'll focus intensely on mastering a single class. I'll max out one skill tree before I put any points into others. If I become so unbalanced that it'd become hard to finish projects without a team, I accept that tradeoff as part of striving to be the best I can be at one specific role.
I'm not worried about arbitrary categories. I pick up whatever solves the current challenge. I'm drawn to the variety and learning curve of filling in my weakest areas. I'll develop broad experience to be versatile and a better communicator between specialized classes.

There isn't time to complete every quest. Where do you go?* This field is required.
I cut my own path into the forgotten woods, unsure what I'll find, but that's why I'm going. I don't want to spend my time left on one huge, familiar mission with a high risk of it not working out. I'd rather take chances on several midsize quests, with more surprises.
I head straight for the lunar dragon's mountain top lair. One mission is enough for me if it makes a big enough difference in its impact. I don't have to be the person in charge - I want to be part of a successful raid larger than any little group is capable of pulling off.
I return to the village to do many side quests. I'll find the baker’s lost birds, win the fishing tournament, and run the bully guards out of the tavern. I'll pack my quest log by starting several options at once. There is meaning in looking out for each other and living playfully.
