Studio Hire

The Daylight Studio rental includes usage of the following:

• 120m² studio space
• Photography lighting (Profoto)
• 6m x 8.5m Infinity curve
• 500mb/s uncapped fibre
• Kitchen
• Lounge area
• Editing station for upload/download or client transfers
• 24h security
• TV screen on a movable stand with internet
• Natural light in the studio (big window in a broad space) 

If you require the photography curve to be repainted before your shoot, please arrange this at least 3 working days in advance.

Sundays are charged at a 1.5x rate.

Drive-in Studio ( Studio A) rental includes usage of the following:

PLEASE TAKE NOTE - the photography curve will be inspected before and after your shoot to ensure it is used respectfully and maintained for longevity. Should any damage be caused or maintenance be required, the damage will be at your expense.

All studio hires are charged a paint touch-up fee of R300 to keep the photography curve clean for the next hire.

An additional studio cleaning fee will be added for all full-day shoots and for any shoots that have six or more crew members.

 

 

Please note that an additional cleaning fee of R200 + R50 per person for crews bigger than 6 (six) is charged with every studio booking.

Cancellations within 24 hours before 9 am on the day of collection will be liable to pay the full amount of the total hire price payable for the Hire Period, and any discount granted to the Customer in terms of the Quotation shall be forfeited. 

Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours of collection will be liable to pay 50% of the total hire price payable for the Hire Period, and any discount granted to the Customer in terms of the Quotation shall be forfeited.

White paint touch-up of curve: R200 if required (shoe booties provided). Extra fees for equipment rentals, additional services, extended hours, or breakages are to be settled on the day with SNAPSCAN or upon receipt of the invoice with EFT. Cash payment is also welcome.

Insurance and Liability: Clients are required to carry their insurance coverage for their equipment, personnel, and any liabilities arising from their activities in the studio. Additionally, any breakages in the studio during the booking time are liable to the client
