2025-2026 Area 5 Scholarship Application Form
Area 5 supports ringing education by supplying scholarships to qualified candidates to both Area 5 (Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Michigan) and National Handbell Musicians of America (HMA) events. Scholarship applications will be accepted starting October 1 and close on November 15. We strongly recommend that you review all upcoming events for the year and submit your application as close to October 1 as possible.
* Scholarships are awarded for the full registration total of the chosen event. Travel, lodging, meals, incidentals, and any fees beyond the cost of registration are not included in Area 5 scholarships.

A requirement of the Area 5 scholarship program is the submission of an after-event summary of your experience at this event. Information to include: (1) A summary of what you learned, (2) did this meet your goals for attending this event, (3) how do you see this information being incorporated into your future endeavors for education and / or performance, (4) is there anything else you would like to share with your Area 5 Board?
